Design Number 195 - ‘Octavia’

A 19m racing yacht dating from the early 1900’s. A thoroughbred race winner getting the better of Mariquita on more than one occasion. The records we have found show that Octavia recorded 31 prizes in 46 starts. She was also featured in one of Uffa Fox’s books; ‘I could not help being impressed by her comfort and ability, and it was pleasant to think that she had these virtues as well as the speed which enabled her to do so well when racing as a 19m.’ Several builders have shown interest in replicating this yacht, with prices available on request.
