Alfred Mylne & Co, established in 1896 have been designing beautiful craft under the title A Mylne & Co. These fantastic craft have been at the forefront of classic yacht races over the past century and are the epitome of great yacht design. Having worked for G L Watson, Mylne learnt his trade designing parts of the Britania and was a well respected yacht designer throughout his career. His brother ran the Bute Slip Dock and thus the family could offer the complete solution to the discerning yacht owner. Yachts such as Thendara and The Blue Peter grace the waters of the Med and can be chartered. They can also be seen racing alongside the likes of Lulworth. Atlantide is another beautiful yacht designed by the great Alfred Mylne. The original lines plans, sail plans, construction drawings and study plans are currently being archived.
