In July over 20 classic and elegant yachts designed and built by Glasgow based Alfred Mylne will gather together at Rhu near Helensburgh.

Their common cause will be to celebrate Mylne’s design and work. Mylne passed his business to his nephew, who was joined in 1959 by a yachting journalist and enthusiastic designer and sailor, Ian Nicolson. In 2007, David Gray, a naval architect based in Fife, bought the business and enthuses here about these classics of their age.
